From 7:30pm to 9:30pm on Thursday, April 2nd, a certain chicken and beer establishment in Sinchon will be home to some fun and camaraderie between Koreans and foreigners. Innovative ice-breaking activities are being planned to help stimulate conversation and a lively atmosphere. To make sure that the event comes off just right, event organizer “It’s Story” has scheduled for a jazz pianist to play live in the background, while participants are being asked to leave their wallets or purses at home. Yes, you read that last part correctly. The whole event will be free. Free fried chicken, 2 free beers for each guest. And an evening of social dining and making new friends.
However, there is a catch. The event will be limited to 20 foreigners and 20 Koreans. The first 20 foreigners who email us at firstname.lastname@example.org will be chosen. Please send us your name, nationality, and cellphone number. We’ll then contact you with a map and address of the chicken restaurant, along with a passcode that you’ll need to bring to the event. Anyone who emailed us after the cut-off of 20 people will be placed on a waiting list. We’ll then contact you if any of the first 20 guests have cancelled. In addition to that, we’ll email you first when we do another social dining event, before we start doing any wider promotion on our site or Fanpage.
