For foreigners living or travelling in Korea during Halloween season, it’s hard not to wipe that frown off of your face. Reason being for the pouty looks on our faces, and especially those of our kids, is because Halloween is not much of a big deal in Korea. No trick-or-treating. No pumpkin carving activities with friends and family. No rummaging through the hordes of candies and chocolates that your kids accumulated from cheerful neighbors who you would normally not even know much about, much less talk to during other times of the year. It’s truly a time worthy of sporting a long face, if Halloween comes and goes without doing anything.
Luckily, Everland does consider Halloween to be a big deal and wishes to invite all foreigners in Korea to come partake in a wide range of themed events and activities going on during this spookiest of seasons. And you need not worry about having to deal with the big crowds on the big day of October 31. Everland has all of their Halloween fun spread out from Sept.5 to Nov.2.
Whether you are seeking real thrills from such themes as spotting zombies at the Walking Dead Square, freaking out on the Zombie T Ride, losing your mind in the Horror Maze, or going on a Horror Safari, Everland has truly outdone themselves for scare-seekers of all ages. For more information on all the fun going on at Everland, feast your eyes on the great site they’ve set up for this Halloween!
