The National Gugak Center will offer 12-week courses on Korean traditional instruments for expats.
Starting from March, the National Gugak Center will offer 12-week courses for all expats who are interested in learning how to play Korean traditional instruments. There will be four different classes that will be available for this program. Anyone can choose from gayageum for beginners, gayageum for intermediates, janggu and haegeum. All of these will be conducted in both English and Korean. If you don’t own any of these instruments, they will be available at the center.
If anyone is interested, applications will be taken on a first-come-first-served basis. To register, email them at firstname.lastname@example.org or give them a call at (02)580-3054. While in Korea, why not take this opportunity to learn a new instrument and the culture?
