Shuttle bus service from Seoul to Jeonju will run from March to August 2014.
Every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at 8:00 from Seoul to Jeonju and 17:00 from Jeonju to Seoul, free shuttle buses will run for foreigners. Boarding will take place at Gwanghwamun Donghwa Duty Free parking lot in Seoul and Hanok Village parking lot in Jeonju. Reservations should be made three days prior to the departure date. Reservations can be made online at shuttle.dongbotravel.com?or phone reservations can be made by calling +82-2-1577-2507. Services are provided in English, Japanese, Chinese, and Korean. A confirmation message will be sent to the email address that was provided. When coming to the boarding location, bring a passport to verify identification. Multiple reservations can be made.
Jeonju has been a famous city to see and experience the traditional houses and lifestyles of Korea because they have preserved the traditional and historical sites well. Some famous places to visit in Jeonju are the Jeonju Hanok Village, and Gyeonggijeon Shrine. The Hanok Village portrays the traditional lifestyle of earlier Korean days. Gyeonggijeon Shrine is a place that is dedicated to Korea’s historical figures. Korea’s most famous bibimbap is what Jeonju is also famous for.
