At Daegu the communist forses massacred at least two villages. Probably more than that but these two for sure. the large mounds directly behind my apartment in Daegu, where I lived in 190-1990 were the burial pits for a couple of thousand South koreans who refused to join the Norths forces. there are stories of more massacres. i assume that some of the communist attrocities are now laid at the foot of the South. It is more politically convienient. I do not believe that British forces had joined the battle at DAegu when the South and the U.S. were trying to hold the Pusnan perimeter. But a good story anyway Mr. Sudworth.
